Active Idlers are kinda like pulleys without grub screw. The idea is that they do not have bearings that can wear but instead the shaft is suspended in bearings, which are much bigger and much more durable.

These custom made active idlers are used in some printer designs (for example the Micron).

What to expect of this?

• Kinda like a pulley, but no grub screw
• 16T for 6mm wide 2GT belts
• 3mm ID for standard axles (or M3 bolts)

How to use?

• Put on a shaft
• Put shaft in bearings
• Add belts
• Wheeee!
